Celebrate Children’s Week 2019 at FREE Family Fun Play Fest at Café Mojo/Mundaring Wellness Centre. The Midvale Hub Parenting Service are organising a Children’s Week event which, is open to the entire community, of all ages!
Come along and join in on two hours of interactive messy play, provided by Messy Moments, who provide fun and messy play experiences for children, and promote learning through play as children use their senses to engage, learn and develop the whole child. Messy Moments is run by a qualified and experienced teacher who always puts the child’s needs first and has a wealth of knowledge about child development.
REmida will also be in attendance, providing a 45 minute interactive experience for parents and children. The Sights and Sounds Play Experience incorporates different aspects of motion, music and play as students explore how materials can be used to create a host of different sensory experiences. Children communicate, collaborate and create their own learning journey immersed in the look, feel and sound of these extraordinary materials. The recyclable materials provided are unique, and re-purposed to provide imaginative learning opportunities.
Art & Craft activities will also be provided, for children to participate in and, the items created can be taken home on the day.
A Messy Play Kitchen has been created in the sandpit area of the café gardens, which will be equipped with kitchen utensils, recycled food packaging and a basic play kitchen, which will be available for children to access as a free play experience.
To promote the healthy eating ‘Go for 2 & 5’ FREE fruit will be available, for children to take home in a paper bag.
Please, bring along a change of clothes, water bottle, and a hat for your child. The outdoor area where the event is held, is shaded and, has space available should you want to bring along a small picnic rug.
The ‘Mundaring Kids Play Fest’ is made possible, thanks to support from Department of Communities, Healthway, Lotterywest & Meerilinga.
Thank you to the Mundaring Wellness Centre, and Café Mojo, for the free use of the venue and facilities.
