Presentation to Professionals by Professor Donna Cross

25 October 2017 @ 09:30 - 11:00 Meerilinga Young Children's Foundation Inc. Perth, 6000

Professor Donna Cross recently completed a Churchill Scholarship in the US where she investigated how technology is affecting the way children develop and learn.

Thanks to the Western Australian Department of Education, she will share her findings and equip participants at the workshop with the considerations that need to be taken into account by educators and parents when designing opportunities for children to use technology.

Professor Cross will also reveal the one big no no in relation to early learning and the introduction of technology, and the importance of play as a foundation for learning.

This lecture will include interactive exercises and a question and answer session at the end.

Network with other industry professionals and enjoy a free morning tea with the other event participants at the conclusion of the talk.

Supported by the WA Department of Education and Lotterywest.
