About Meerilinga
Meerilinga Children and Community Foundation Inc. (Meerilinga), is a not for profit organisation that has been promoting positive childhoods in Western Australia since 1911.
We pride ourselves on advocating for the rights of children throughout our Early Learning Programs, community and family support services, and by providing professional learning opportunities for current Early Childhood Education and Care staff.
We are also training the next generation of educators through Meerilinga Training College (RTO 6000), where our offerings range from the classroom-based Job Ready course, to a CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, as a traineeship. Meerilinga has been the convener of Children’s Week in Western Australia since 1985 and helps run the week through the organising of large community events and running a grants program, with help from government and non-government partners.
